My experience with Hill's Cleaners was exceptional! I had a kitchen fire which carried soot through out my house. All my household garments, curtains, area rugs, everything was covered in soot. Hill's Cleaners came to my rescue. With in 24 hours I had a 2 to 3 week supply of clothes returned to me. With 3 children and my home in such disarray the last thing I wanted to do was replace all their clothing! Thank you Hill's, you were really a life saver.
I am usually not one to write a negative review but I have just arrived home from a pretty bad experience at Hills Cleaners. I dropped mine and my sisters dress off at Hills on Saturday and was told I could pick it up on Tuesday. When I picked up the dress on Tuesday I went to pay for it when something told me to look and make sure it was done correctly as this was my first time here. I checked it and Hills had accidentally taken out of the sticking on the front of the dress. I asked them if I could leave it to be fixed by the owner Lisa and they said yes. I left several messages today for Lisa and I was told if there was any issues with fixing the dress I would be called. I went today to pick it up at 4pm and they said it was done. I looked and nothing was fixed. I had the boy ringing me up call the manager and get her on the phone. Lisa basically said there is nothing she could do. I wasn't even mad about that I was mad that I did not get the call letting me know that earlier so I could have had time to get it fixed somewhere else. Lisa only made me pay for the one dress which is how it should have been but she could not help me and I wasn't pleased at all with her satisfying a customer as I had to ask for the discount it was not offered. After I hung up the phone a young girl in the store noticed I was upset and helped me. She fixed the dress and had nothing but the utmost respect for me as a customer. I will return again only because of her. So it's bitter sweet I guess.
The day before my daughters wedding, we picked up her dress from (another) cleaner to find that it had not been pressed properly....or not at all! It was now 4 pm on Sat. Called Hill's because a friend had recommended. The work staff had gone home, but the girl at the counter offered to call the owner. She CAME BACK to the store, turned the equipment back on (it took 30 min to heat) and spent an hour pressing the dress to perfection. She even cleaned a little spot of makeup on the neckline! I was an hour late for the rehearsal dinner, but I knew the dress would look perfect for the next day. I want to add that this owner had never met me and I was not a prior customer....she was sympathetic to the situation. Customer service doesn't get any better than that!!
I had an emergency with a dress I needed to alter for a wedding . The lady was so nice to do it within one day o I could take it with me to wear it for the wedding. I'm so thankful to the owner. Very nice service and people.
